Our Mission

To facilitate a healthy lifestyle in the communities we operate in, by retailing quality sporting, leisure and recreational apparel, equipment and footwear.

 

Overview

Sportsman's Warehouse is a Canberra based, privately owned company that has been in existence for over 24 years. Our first store opened in Fyshwick ACT in 1983 and we now have a total of 9 stores operating in Canberra, Dubbo, Orange, Shepparton, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga, and employ over 150 permanent and casual associates.

 

Community

Sportsman's Warehouse is currently supporting the communities we operate in through the following initiatives:

                                                

                                A SERIOUS HELPING HAND PROGRAM

A sustained fundraising drive aimed at supporting and raising much needed funds for the hospitals' children's services in all regions we currently operate in.

It works like this…Customers are able to purchase our colourful serious "Helping Hand Drink Bottles'" for just $7. Half, or $3.50 of the purchase price will be donated to the Hospitals while $3.50 will go back into keeping the promotion running, that is, replacing the bottles sold with new bottles.

All money raised through each store will be donated to Hospital within each region every 6 months.

Good Sport Award

A community program that promotes great values through sport - run in conjunction with Sport and Recreation ACT - Good Sport Territory Program as well as other official sporting organisations throughout the regions we operate in.

 

We acknowledge and reward a complete range of sports conduct and positive behaviours for children in the 6 to 13 age bracket. Coaches can select and reward one recipient per team each game for the selected sporting season. The packs are available to coaching staff of clubs, associations and schools at no charge by registering your team any Sportsmans Warehouse store or through Sport and Recreation ACT.
